Dough:
- 4 cups of flour
- 1 cup of warm water
- 1 egg
- 1 cup of warm milk

- Half a teaspoon of molasses (preferably grape molasses)

Recipe of Turkish Simit
First of all mix warm water, warm milk, granulated sugar, water and dry yeast in a deep bowl. Then add the egg to the mixture and gradually pour the flour. Add salt and knead for 10 minutes by hand or for 8 minutes at low speed in the machine. The dough should be soft and not sticky to the hand. After the dough is ready, cover it with a damp cloth. The dough should be fermented for 1 hour at room temperature. After 1 hour, divide the fermented dough into equal parts. Twist each piece into a roll and assemble it into a ring.
Mix molasses with water for topping. Roast the sesame, being careful not to burn them on low heat, and let them cool.
